Light brown sugar has a consistently bright, golden colour, giving a fine crumb texture in pre-production and excellent cake volume in the finished product. The fine particle sizes ensure rapid dissolving for syrups, sauces, caramels and toffees.
This crystalline soft brown sugar is produced by blending cane molasses with fine white sugar. This sugar is moist and not free-flowing like standard granulated sugar due to the molasses content.
